World Recycling Day
May 17 is World Recycling Day, declared by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Unesco, whose purpose is to promote recycling for the protection of the environment.
The excess of waste generated by human activity is the main reason for citizens and organizations to join this day to recycling actions and activities around the world with the aim of spreading good practices to reduce environmental impact.
