PROTISA awarded at the 2nd La Razón Sustainability and Environment Awards

On Tuesday 26th April, PROTISA had the honour of being awarded the Sustainable Management and Contribution to the Circular Economy in Recycling Award, a prize given by La Razón at the 2nd SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENT AWARDS.

The gala took place at the headquarters of La Razón and was attended by our CEO Raquel Malo Serisa, who shared the ceremony with 14 other Spanish companies that have stood out during 2021 for their contribution in different areas to the sustainable development of their companies and production activities.

Raquel Malo received the award from Francisco Marhuenda, director of the newspaper. With this recognition, the efforts and work of the entire PROTISA team for the well-being and economic and social prosperity of the Canary Islands and Spain in general are valued.

Paloma Martín, Regional Minister for the Environment, Housing and Agriculture was in charge of closing the event.

  • PreZero was awarded the Prize for the Best Environmental Solutions for Waste Reduction and Recycling, which was collected by Sergio Cabellos, Regional Director of PreZero Spain.
  • Papresa, Papresa, Award for Sustainability and Environmental Commitment in the Manufacture of 100% Recycled Paper, an award that was collected by Miguel Sánchez, president and CEO of the company.
  • Biotechnology Biopolym, Award for Leadership in Biostimulant Solutions. Braulio Francisco Moreno Molino, president of the company, was in charge of receiving the award.
  • TheMPVSolarReference, First Online Program Award Photovoltaic 360º collected by Luis Cancela Rubio, director of the FULL360º Master and CEO of the company.
  • Lainco, Award for Leadership in Sustainable Crop Protection Solutions, an award that was collected by Hugo Cores Aragunde, the company’s Marketing Director.
  • La Querella D’ordino, Award for Best Sustainable Real Estate Project in the Principality of Andorra. Jordi Cerqueda, president of the Promoter, collected the award.
  • Intec Revestimientos, Award for the Leading Company in Sustainable and Ecological Coatings. An award collected by Antonio González González, manager of the company.
  • Eco-Agua, Award for Best Ecological Alternative to the Consumption of Bottled Water, collected by Íñigo Sempere Gorostiza, CEO of the company.
  • Vallnord-Paul Arinsal Station, Award for Commitment to Ecotourism and Sustainable Development. Pedro Morán Ortigosa, Director of Marketing, was in charge of collecting the award.
  • Lafargeholcim, Award for Leadership in Innovative and Sustainable Construction Solutions, an award received by Mariano García Hoyos, director of Sustainability and Verónica Martín Martínez, director of HR and Communication.
  • Aidisa Solar, Award for Leadership in Photovoltaic Installations for Residential and Industrial Self-consumption, an award received by Juan Carlos Garrido Garrido, General Director of the company.
  • Ecoadvance, Ozone Technology Leaders Award. Award received by Younes Brousserhane, Jordi Rocas Cocera and Álex Raya Reyes, partners of the company.
  • Refracta, Award for Commitment to Sustainability and Energy Efficiency in Raw Materials Management. An award received by the president of the company, Pedro Fajardo.
  • Agrosingularity, Award for Commitment to the Circular Economy in Food which was collected by Daniel Andreu Acosta, CEO and founder of the company.
