World environment day, under the slogan ‘Raise your voice, not the sea level’

As part of WED, numerous activities are carried out around the world to raise environmental awareness. This year it is celebrated under the slogan “Raise your voice, not the sea level” and, in order to contribute to the dissemination of this date, we share some practical tips that we can apply to our daily activity for the care of the planet.

• Take advantage of natural light to avoid unnecessary consumption of electricity.
• Rationalize water consumption.
• Print only what is essential and use both sides of the paper.
• Manage and regulate heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems properly.
• Disconnect electrical appliances when they are not in use.
• Move around by bicycle or on foot and for longer distances travel by public transport.
• When shopping, take our own cloth bags, paper bags, cardboard bags or even plastic bags previously used until they are unusable.
• Buy responsibly, choosing locally produced and distributed products.
• Reduce, reuse and recycle.
